The Lowry Restaurant Reviews
|
"It's fair to say that a lot is going on if you head to The Quays these days. Gone is the name 'Salford Quays', and up has popped an endless array of new places to eat, drink and be entertained, mainly since the arrival of MediaCityUK and the influx of new punters which said arrival has generated. Why the powers that be chose to name every destination in Salford as 'The Lowry' is beyond me. Sure, LS is a legendary artist, but a shopping centre, theatre, hotel and art gallery, all named after one person? He clearly has plenty of fans. Would we be fans of the theatre based restaurant though? |
Now a theatre isn’t a venue which you might consider for a quality restaurant dinner, unless of course you're actually planning on attending a show at said theatre? Even then, we usually opt for a bag of Minstrels and bottle of soft drink, to smuggle into the show whilst trying not to irritate those sat around us with some constant mid-show bag rustling....
