"Altogether Vertigo is a very modern and visually appealing restaurant with excellent service. The food was OK but not to the standard I would expect from the relatively high prices. The food was generally of good quality although it was very over-priced compared to other restaurants of a similar standard. I was very disappointed by the starter of Scallops which was £11 and consisted of only two scallops and three pieces of pork - I would certainly have expected to get more scallops than pork. My main dish was Sea Bass in saffron and lemon broth. The presentation was good and it tasted great. Our waiter was excellent - very polite and knowledgeable about the menu and very attentive without being annoying. Even though our wine was kept in a cooler, not on the table, he always ensured it was topped up at all times.
Although it's nicely decorated, the tables are very close together and it feels quite cramped - so much so that we could hear everything the two couples sat next to us were saying to each other." -
