Jamie's Italian Manchester |
The newest in the collection of Jamie Oliver's hugely successful high street restaurants 'Jamie's Italian' opened in the former Midland Bank building on King Street, Manchester on 20th February 2012. |
Located just around the corner from the Royal Exchange Theatre and the main shopping district, it's perfectly located. |
Many original features of the Grade II listed building, designed by Sir Edwin Lutyens in 1928 and built between 1933 and 1935, have been retained, including marble clad columns, intricate mahogany wall panellings and a number of historic art deco features. |
The private dining rooms and events spaces are housed within the basement vault where the banks 200 safety deposit boxes were stored. |
Jamie's Italian has received outstanding reviews from many of Britain's most respected food critics. |
