Italian restaurant has always been popular with business clients and
was famed as being the favourite haunt of Luciano Pavarotti when he
was in town. The current owners have allowed their Chilean roots to
complement their many years of working in Italian restaurants and
have created an eclectic menu which should appeal to the establishment's
existing customer base as well as those seeking specialities from
Latin America and Spain. The food is honest and flavoursome and prices
are as welcoming as the friendly staff. The wine list of Italian and
New World wines is impressive - arguably one of the cheapest in town
- and you can see why Leoni's is popular with celebrations - the party
menu is also worthy of mention. It's the ideal place to celebrate
with a large group of friends or, if you're dining as a more intimate
party, simply looking for homely South American or Italian cooking!"
