The
Buddha Lounge Restaurant |
|
Located
opposite Ramsbottom steam railway station, just north of Bury
and an easy half hour drive from Manchester city centre, The Buddha
Lounge offers a fusion of authentic Thai and Cantonese cuisine
in a stunning modern setting. |
Buddha
Lounge owners Scott Murray and Kin Lau, first brought the unique
Thai Lounge restaurant to Whitefield Manchester in June 2006,
enlisting award winning chef's and management from Thailand to
bring a true authentic Thai experience, the aim of a grand city
centre establishment to a smaller suburban town. |
In
November 2008, the vision was expanded to Ramsbottom, a traditional
village on the outskirts of Bury, with Buddha Lounge. |
With
the fusion of Thai and Chinese cuisine, The Buddha Lounge brings
the most mouth watering tastes and outrageous design into one. The
atmosphere is based on the calm, tranquillity of the Thai Buddha
and the loveable, happy Chinese laughing Buddha who both bring luck
and good fortune. |
With
the East Lancashire Railway running steam and diesel engines from
Bury town centre to the doorstep of the restaurant, the Buddha Lounge
makes the ideal destination restaurant. |
