Manchester Food & Drink Festival Awards Shortlist

12th Jun 2019

The nominations for the 22nd annual Manchester Food & Drink Festival Awards have been announced, with the winners set to be crowned at this year’s MFDF Gala Dinner at Gorton Monastery on Monday 7th October 2019.

There's a lot of nominations this year - including those for the new awards, Artisan Drinks Producer of the Year and Vegan Offering of the Year - which tells you how great a year it has been in the Greater Manchester hospitality sector (or, if you're more cynical about such awards ceremonies, how many expensive tables and sponsorship opportunites there are to sell for the event).

The shortlists - which, as always, questionably excludes each of last year's winners - has been decided by the MFDF judging panel, with nominations for each category open to the public to vote for their favourite. Like Eurovision, these votes will somehow then be combined with scores from the judging panel obtained via mystery shop visits.
