The Kai tribe (Turkish: Kayı boyu) was the second-largest and most influential tribe of the nine-tribe Turkish nation. Legend has it, the Kayı was the tribe out of which the Ottoman Empire emerged.
The word "Kayi" means "might and power through relationships" and that's what you will find at this stunning Deansgate restaurant, opened in December 2018 from the same team behind the multi-award winning Zouk Tea Bar & Grill; relationships which flourish through food.
The Royal Exchange Theatre and Manchester's bustling shopping area are literally on the doorstep, whilst The Opera House and Manchester Arena are just a short walk along Deansgate.
At Kai, Istanbul cafe culture tradition comes together with traditional culinary methods, with a focus on pristine traditional ingredients and cultural dishes that can be enjoyed and shared between friends and family.
