	The Northern Quarter & Ancoats
	Situated north of the Market Street and Arndale shopping areas, sandwiched between Piccadilly Station and the Manchester Arena, there's no better place to grab a break from shopping or a pre-show meal than at one of the many restaurants in the Northern Quarter, Manchester's hip bohemian district.

	Manchester Chinatown
	Dating back to 1948 and really developing in the 1960s, Manchester's China Town boasts a great selection of oriental restaurants. Located around Faulkner Street in the heart of the city centre, next to Piccadilly Gardens and the Gay Village, it's the perfect place to start or end your night, with some restaurants staying open until 3am.

	Rusholme ~ The Curry Mile
	Wilmslow Road in Rusholme, just 2 miles from the city centre, is home to Manchester's world famous Curry Mile, a collection of bright neon lit Indian and Pakistani restaurants, shisha cafes, sweet houses and takeaways. There's a choice of award-winning restaurants and fast food curry houses, opening as late as 4am.

	Restaurants near the shops
	Located around The Arndale, King Street, St Annes Square, and Market Street, there are many restaurants in Manchester's main shopping area. With The Royal Exchange Theatre also found in this area, many offer great pre-theatre menus which double-up as great after-shopping deals.

	The Trafford Centre
	There are over 40 places to eat at The Trafford Centre, the huge shopping mall 5 miles from Manchester city centre. The lavish Great Hall section of the outlet boasts a number of quality restaurants alongside fast food dining choices.

	The Lowry & MediaCityUK
	Salford Quays, just a 10 minute tram or taxi ride from the city centre, boasts a good choice of restaurants near The Lowry Theatre, The Lowry Shopping Outlet and Media City. It's a popular area for pre-match and pre-theatre dining with The Imperial War Museum North and Old Trafford just across the footbridge.

	Manchester Opera House
	There are many restaurants near the Opera House Manchester, on Quay Street in the city centre, each offering great pre-theatre offers. Spinningfields is located next door, whilst it's only a short walk from many of the excellent restaurants located around the beautiful canal basin in Castlefield, and the Museum Of Science & Industry

	Palace Theatre Manchester
	There's a good choice of restaurants near the Palace Theatre, on Oxford Road in the city centre, with pre-show offers being available at most for theatre goers. Oxford Road Train Station is just across the road, whilst the Gay Village is just around the corner.

	Royal Exchange Manchester
	Being located in the heart of Manchester's main shopping area, there's a massive selection of restaurants near The Royal Exchange Theatre to choose from. All within easy walking distance, most offer pre-theatre menus.

	Manchester Arena
	Despite its location on the edge of the city centre, at Victoria Station, there are still a number of restaurants near Manchester Arena (previously known as the MEN Arena and, more recently, the Phones 4u Arena) with pre-show offers. The Printworks, Corn Exchange, Northern Quarter and the main shopping area are all next door.

	Bridgewater Hall
	With its location, slap bang in the centre of town, you'll find so many of Manchester's best restaurants near The Bridgewater Hall on Lower Mosley Street. Manchester Central Convention Complex (known locally as G-Mex) is next door, whilst the new HOME arts centre is nearby, as are The Palace Theatre and Manchester Opera House.

	Manchester Academy & RNCM
	There's a small number of restaurants near Manchester Academy, on the University of Manchester's Oxford Road complex, a mile walk from the city centre. The Royal Northern College of Music and Manchester Aquatics Centre are nearby, whilst Rusholme's famous Curry Mile is just a short walk away.

	Old Trafford
	5 minutes on the tram from the city centre, there's only a handful of restaurants near Old Trafford Football Stadium and Lancashire Cricket Club's Old Trafford Cricket Stadium, which is a short walk away at the other end of Sir Matt Busby Way. They get busy on match days as you'd expect, so book ahead.

	Etihad Stadium
	There are not many restaurants near the Etihad Stadium, also known locally as the City Of Manchester Stadium or Eastlands, which is located a mile outside the city centre in Gorton. The area, nicknamed Sportcity, is also home to the National Cycling Centre, Manchester Velodrome, National Squash Centre and Manchester Regional Arena.

	O2 Apollo Manchester
	Being a mile outside the city centre on Stockport Road in Ardwick, there's only a handful of restaurants near Manchester Apollo. Piccadilly Station in the city centre is only a 15 minute walk though, with many restaurants advertising pre-show offers.

	Spinningfields
	There are over thirty-five restaurants in Spinningfields, the new business district in the heart of the city centre. After an unsuccessful attempt to make it a designer shopping area, most stores have since been converted to more restaurants, many offering pre-theatre deals with The Manchester Opera House located next door.

	Corn Exchange Manchester
	Located in the heart of Manchester's main shopping area, the £15m transformation of Manchester's Corn Exchange in 2015 (previously known as The Triangle) has seen the building converted into a complex of thirteen restaurants and bars, many offering pre-show deals for the nearby Manchester Arena and Royal Exchange Theatre.

	Didsbury
	There is a huge selection of restaurants in Didsbury, just 10 minutes drive or 14 minutes train journey from Manchester city centre. Wilmslow Road in East Didsbury ("Didsbury Village") boasts a mile long stretch of restaurants, whilst West Didsbury is a short walk along Burton Road and boasts many independent and family ran restaurants.

	Chorlton-cum-Hardy
	Located 15 minutes drive or 30 minutes tram journey from the city centre, in between Old Trafford and Didsbury, there are many restaurants in Chorlton, the vibrant hipster neighbourhood of Manchester.
