Limited Tine Offering9th Aug 2021"The Bungalow", an old brutalist 1960's security cabin set on concrete stilts at the end of Canal Street, is set to host a new pop-up restaurant from two of Manchester's most talented young chefs, until September 2021.
Tine - who had their previous pop-up stint at Blossom Street Social cut short by the Coronavirus Lockdown, barely days after opening - is a fine-dining British restaurant from former Wolf At The Door Head Chef James Lord (previously Senior Sous Chef at Manchester House) and Josh Shanahan (Senior Sous Chef at Wolf At The Door, Mana, and Where The Light Comes In, after time in the kitchen at both Mr Coopers and The French by Simon Rogan).

The pair will join forces with current Bungalow resident, Le Social Wine Bar, who specialises in natural and organic wines.
Tine follows in the footsteps of the approachable fine-dining pop-up restaurant, Higher Ground, from Joe Otway (formerly Head Chef at Where the Light Gets, who gained his experience at the incredible Michelin-starred Relæ in Copenhagen) and Richard Cossins (previously general manager at Simon Rogan's Michelin starred Fera, at Claridges in London, and 2-Michelin starred Blue Hill Stone Barns, in New York), who previously occupied the site; also seeing their short-term tenure cut short barely days after opening due to Lockdown.
With its high-spec kitchen, The Bungalow is part of the KAMPUS apartment development and will continue to host pop-up dining concepts, with Levenshulme's Isca Wines previously taking the unit. The natural wine bar from sommelier Caroline Dubois and chef Isobel Jenkins also traced its roots to Stockport's acclaimed Where The Light Gets In, where the two met.
